I have been listing with, selling on, searching on and swearing at Ebay for almost 9 years now. I love it and I hate it. Ebay is the most fun, most frustrating thing there is to deal with. I find the most amazing bargains, and I get ripped off so bad I have to give my head a shake. Not too many companies that I hate more than feebay. They bend you over every so often, just to remind you to keep hating them. They rip you off for listing fees, they rip you off for selling fees, and then lately they implemented the policy that you can no longer take checks and money orders as payment for goods, but rather you can only accept PayPal or another credit card merchant. And we all know that PayPal is owned and run by feebay, so they screw you three times by the time you list and sell something. Trust me, their stock is going down and I'll be the first to wave goodbye and good riddance. Craigslist is picking up fast and taking over. It's free, easy, very uncomplicated and hopefully soon will expand. I hope feebay dies a slow and painful (VERY painful) death. It's screwed me so many times I've lost count. If you have any other avenue to sell your stuff, I recommend it. Feebay thinks that they are God, and we all know that that is a lie--everyone except Feebay that is. They keep making policy, they keep screwing sellers, and so far, I've managed to live with it. But not much longer........

Okay, now that you know how I REALLY feel, let me go on.

For anyone out there thinking that ebay is easy and fun, let me tell you, you've not been doing it long enough....

What do I still sell on ebay?

Everything! Cars, Bikes, & parts...still on feebay. If it's worth something, then I sell it.

Vehicles/Bikes?

I list cars for 7 days with 24 pictures for $75. If the car does not sell, then that is the end of the fees. It is another $60 to relist. If the car does sell, then Ebay charges a $125 fee. The same listing would apply when listing a motorcycle or boat. Ebay used to charge $100 to list, whether the car sold or not, and than another $50 if they sold it for you. They have now loaded the selling fee, instead of the listing fee. Listing fees for vehicles is due at time of listing. Since this is a brand new policy just implemented by ebay, it is subject to change at any time. But, it is a great deal if you can sell the car on your own, and use ebay as international advertising. Sell the car before the auction closes, and you owe them nothing...Not much would make me happier than selling all vehicles before the listing ends, and screwing feebay out of their money.... Use them like the whores that they are.

This listing will be seen internationally, and includes me coming to the location of the vehicle, taking the pictures and taking a description of the vehicle from you. I prepare the listing and submit it to ebay. It runs for 7 days and can contain up to 24 pictures.

What Happens When My Vehicle/Bike/ Boat sells?

If the vehicle sells, then feebay will charge $125 for completing the sale. That is a flat fee and non-negotiable. That will be payable to me upon funds being accepted, as they will bill my account upon closing.

Can I Avoid the $125 Selling Fee?

Yes. If you view your feebay listing as international advertising, then take any and all calls, and arrange to sell the vehicle prior to the Listing closing. You can negotiate any arrangements directly with a caller and take any funds as a non-refundable deposit. When you have the funds, notify me and I will remove the listing from the feebay site. Then, provided the sale is legitimate, you owe Me/ebay nothing further.

Keep in mind, that ending the Listing early may prevent a higher selling price, as most buyers tend to wait until the end of an auction, so as to avoid bidding the price up or bidding against themselves.

Who Answers Questions Asked by Potential Bidders/Buyers?

If I can't answer any questions on the item/vehicle, I will contact you. Or, what I suggest is to can insert a phone number to have people contact you directly.
